Pediatric Surgery
In the Pediatric Surgery Department, the diagnosis and treatment of all surgical problems of children in the 0-15 age group are carried out. The follow-up and treatment of urinary tract diseases (kidney enlargement, vesicoureteral reflux, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, bladder diseases, nocturnal and diurnal enuresis), genital area diseases (inguinal hernia, undescended testis, and penile anomalies, hypospadias), surgical diseases related to intra-abdominal organs (appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain, liver diseases), and neonatal surgical anomalies (esophageal atresia, congenital intestinal obstructions, imperforate anus) are within the scope of this department.
Since surgical diseases concerning children require a unique treatment approach, these patients are treated by pediatric surgery specialists.
