Robotic Surgery and Endoscopic Methods
Today, robotic prostate surgery has become one of the gold standards, especially in prostate cancer surgery. Robotic surgery provides the surgeon with a three-dimensional and magnified view while allowing the operation to be performed with millimetric movements. This reduces bleeding, shortens recovery time, and better preserves the nerves responsible for urinary continence and sexual function. For kidney cancer and kidney cyst surgeries, laparoscopic (closed) methods are generally preferred.
MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy
MR fusion prostate biopsy, which offers a much higher accuracy rate compared to classical biopsy methods, is performed in our clinic for patients with suspected prostate cancer. With this technology, the patient's MRI images are transferred to an ultrasound device, and suspicious areas are directly targeted to take tissue samples with millimetric precision. The procedure is performed comfortably under local or general anesthesia.
Laser Stone Breaking (Lithotripsy)
In the treatment of kidney and urinary tract stones, the procedure of breaking stones with a laser by entering through the natural urinary tract without making any incisions in the body (Flexible Ureteroscopy - RIRS) is successfully applied.
