SCOPE OF SERVICES
WHEN SHOULD YOU CONSULT?
Which Diseases and Conditions Are Treated?
Our department creates comprehensive treatment plans for all health issues concerning the female reproductive system. Our specialist physicians listen carefully to your complaints and determine the most appropriate treatment process for you.
- Menstrual irregularities and hormonal disorders
- Fibroids, polyps, and ovarian cysts
- Uterine and cervical diseases
- Urinary incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse
- Menopause symptoms and bone loss (osteoporosis)
- Recurrent miscarriages and high-risk pregnancies
Diagnostic Methods
The foundation of correct treatment relies on accurate and early diagnosis. Our hospital uses the most advanced imaging and laboratory methods to detect diseases.
The Pap Smear test is of great importance, especially in evaluating cervical health. With a Smear test, cellular changes can be detected at an early stage. If an abnormal finding is encountered, colposcopy is performed, where the cervix is examined with an illuminated and magnifying optical device. When necessary, a biopsy is taken during this procedure to make a definitive diagnosis.
Additionally, the pregnancy process is closely monitored using four-dimensional (4D) ultrasonography devices for a detailed evaluation of the baby in the womb.
Treatment Methods and Applications
Treatments applied in our department are planned to keep our patients' comfort and medical safety at the highest level.
Childbirth Methods
During your pregnancy follow-up and delivery, the health of you and your baby is always our priority. Natural birth, painless birth (epidural), cesarean section, and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) options are successfully performed in our clinic.
We also have a specially designed water birth unit for expectant mothers to have a more comfortable and peaceful birth experience. As one of the hospitals offering water birth, the stress of childbirth is minimized with the relaxing effect of water at our center.
Infertility Diagnosis and Treatment
The major developments in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility in recent years offer hope to many couples dreaming of having a child. Infertility treatment is completely unique to each couple. Treatments applied with couple-specific planning significantly increase the chances of success.
After a detailed evaluation of both the woman and the man, a personalized treatment plan is created, taking into account the individuals' ages, ovarian functions, previous illnesses, and hormonal statuses.
Infertility treatment is a team effort. Unconscious and uninformed practices can reduce success. Therefore, it is of great importance to be patient during the diagnosis and treatment process, for spouses to support each other, and to trust the guidance of our specialist physicians.
Hysteroscopic and Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery
Hysteroscopy allows the inside of the uterus to be viewed with special optical instruments and problems such as fibroids, polyps, or adhesions to be treated surgically. Thanks to this method, intrauterine abnormalities are resolved in a short time.
Laparoscopic gynecological surgery is performed by entering through small incisions of only 5 millimeters to 1 centimeter in the abdominal region. Operations such as chocolate cyst (endometriosis), ectopic pregnancy, fibroid treatment, tubal ligation, or removal of the uterus (hysterectomy) are performed with the closed method. This results in less postoperative pain, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery.
Genital Aesthetics
Deformities, deformations, or skin color changes that women experience in their genital areas can psychologically affect their sexual lives negatively. In our hospital, genital aesthetic operations such as inner and outer lip aesthetics (labiaplasty), surgical vaginal tightening (vaginoplasty), hymen repair (hymenoplasty), and correction of scars due to difficult births (episiotomy scar) are successfully performed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is suitable for a water birth?
Water birth is suitable for healthy expectant mothers who are not in the high-risk pregnancy group, whose baby's development is progressing normally, and who do not have any infection or blood pressure problems. It is best to decide whether the birth can take place in water together with the physician following your pregnancy.
When should pregnancy follow-ups start?
Ideally, you should consult an obstetrician and gynecologist from the moment a pregnancy is planned. If the pregnancy develops unexpectedly, a physician must be consulted for the first ultrasound check and basic blood tests in the first few weeks when a missed period occurs and the pregnancy test is positive.
How long does laparoscopic uterine surgery take?
The duration of laparoscopic (closed) uterine surgeries varies depending on the general condition of the patient, the size of the uterus, and the reason for the surgery. Generally, the operation is completed between 1 and 2 hours. Thanks to the closed method, our patients can usually be discharged one day after the surgery.
How often should a Smear test be done?
It is recommended that the Pap Smear test, which is of great importance for cervical cancer screening, be started from the age of 21 or within 3 years after the first sexual intercourse, and be performed regularly at intervals recommended by your doctor (usually once a year or every three years).
