Who is eligible for laser eye surgery?
Laser eye surgery (refractive surgery) can be applied to patients with myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism who are over 18 years old, have had no change in their eye prescription in the last year, and whose corneal thickness and eye structure are found suitable after detailed examinations. Laser treatment is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those with diseases such as severe dry eye or keratoconus.
How long does cataract surgery take?
Thanks to advanced phacoemulsification (PHACO) technology, cataract surgeries are usually completed in a short time, such as 15 to 30 minutes. The procedure is performed painlessly with drop anesthesia, and our patients can be discharged on the same day and quickly return to their daily lives.
What are the symptoms of glaucoma (eye pressure)?
Glaucoma is an insidious disease that often does not cause any noticeable complaints until the advanced stages of the disease. However, in some cases and advanced stages, symptoms such as narrowing of the visual field (tunnel vision), blurred vision, seeing halos around lights, severe eye and headache, and nausea may occur.
