Specialist Dr. Umut Fırat Turan serves as a General Surgery specialist at BHT CLINIC Istanbul Tema Hospital. He completed his medical education and specialization studies at Ege University, SBU Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, and Atlas University. In his general surgery practice, he particularly works in the fields of bariatric surgery, metabolic surgery, and endoscopic procedures. His medical areas of interest also include colorectal surgery, gastric cancer surgery, and thyroid surgery. Within the scope of obesity treatment, he performs sleeve gastrectomy and mini and RNY gastric bypass procedures.
