Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is a specialty that covers the diagnosis and treatment of physical and functional disorders in the neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems.
Physical therapy refers to the use of physical agents and techniques to treat musculoskeletal diseases. Physical therapy methods are the application of physical agents from outside the body. The applied physical therapy agents do not cause any lesions or wounds in our body. The aim of physical therapy application is to reduce or eliminate pain, to regain the patient's daily life activities, to restore the functions of the organs, and to take their place in the society as an independent individual.
In the department; manual therapy, neural therapy, kinesiological taping, intra-articular injection, dry needling, PRP and medical massage methods and personalised treatments are applied.
Botox application, which eliminates joint stiffness especially in paralyzed patients, is one of the privileged services of the department.
Our Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center has a walking robot in order to regain and improve walking ability and to accelerate the treatment process.
While traditional treatment requires two or three physiotherapists and a lot of strength through parallel bars, the robotic rehabilitation system has made this process an effective treatment method that can be applied by a single user.
The walking robot is used in patients with orthopedic and neural disorders such as hemiplegia, paraplegia, CP, CVO, Parkinson's, traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke, hip arthroplasty, prosthesis after amputation.
